My kids LOVE tacos and I am constantly making Fish, Shrimp, Calamari, Ground Beef, Ground Turkey whatever kind of tacos. You name it, they love it!
The other night they wanted tacos and I was out of taco season, but not a problem, I just whipped up a new batch in minutes!
Here is a wonderful homemade Taco Seasoning recipe that will end up replacing those pre-made packets you end up buying.

Homemade Gluten Free Taco Seasoning
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup ground cumin
- 1/4 cup salt
- 2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground onion powder
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Hot New Mexico Chili powder
Directions:
Place all ingredients into large mixing bowl, stir to combine. Place in an airtight container. Use desired taco seasoning on ground beef, ground turkey or even chicken or pork.

You want to use about 2-3 tablespoons of taco seasoning per 1 pound of meat.
What kind of paprika are you using for this, and is it Mexican oregano or regular oregano?

I used regular for both… but you can totally use Smoked Paprika for more flavor.
