So I was bored before dinner the other night and decided to make the family some Gluten Free Pretzel Toffee Candy. Let’s just say it is pure heaven! Sweet, salty and had a nice crunch! OH! And the recipe only had 4 ingredients: butter, brown sugar, pretzels & dark chocolate chips.

Gluten Free Pretzel Toffee Candy
Ingredients:
- 50 gluten free pretzels (approx.)
- 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, cubed
- 1 cup soft light brown sugar, packed
- 2-3 cups dark chocolate chips
- Cooking Spray
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 325°F.
Line a large jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray and then line the pan with pretzels.
Place the butter and sugar in a medium sized pot over medium-low heat.

Stir until the butter is melted. Once the butter has melted, bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes – Stirring constantly.
Once it’s nice and bubbly, remove pan from heat and pour evenly over the pretzels. Spread mixture with a spatula sprayed with cooking spray.

Place pan in the oven and bake for 5-6 minutes. The mixture will spread evenly over the pretzels as it bakes.
Remove pan from oven and then sprinkle the dark chocolate chips on top of the toffee while it’s still hot. Once the chocolate chips have melted spread all over the toffee with a greased spatula.

Place pan in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. Once chocolate has hardened break pieces off the foil and into a container.

This looks so yummy!
Could you do it with regular milk chocolate chips?
